Objectives

1. To acquaint or reacquaint particpants with Freud's classic case of Little Hans--his "Analysis of a phobia in a five year old boy".
2. To consider the case from a contemporary psychoanalytic perspective and to understand its importance in the development of psychoanalysis.
3. To review and evaluate some of the scholarly arguments about the case.
